My Top 3: Mains-Powered Wand Vibrators

Owning a Doxy is essential for any self-respecting wanker.

Hands-down the best wand on the market – not only in my opinion, but in that of my esteemed industry peers – is the Doxy. It’s simply unbeatable.

Buy the Doxy you can afford, and don’t worry too much about which: you just need to own one. Any one.

That said, if you like your wand multi-purpose, you may like to choose the lighter travel Doxy 3, which has a variety of attachments available, whatever your sexual genitalia. This means if you or your partner/s have a penis, a vagina or both, you can spread the cost of the Doxy Number 3 between you.

For what it’s worth, I still prefer the original, weightier Doxy Massager and the second Die Cast version due to their slightly lower rumbles. Either way, each kind of Doxy is a work of art – truly a thing of beauty – and it will stand head and shoulders above the rest in this list.

So whichever you choose, be sure to buy your Doxy from a reputable company like Lovehoney or Simply Pleasure.

Original yet badass

Second comes the Bodywand: simple to use, there are no downsides to this baby. It delivers what it promises. Easy.

Again, there are a couple of additional attachments you can buy to enhance your Bodywand experience.

That said, unfortunately along with every other wand ever made, the Bodywand places waaaay below the Doxy. Sorry Folks, but that’s how much better than the rest a Doxy is!

So with that in mind…

Yeah Baby!

In third place is the PalmPower USB Plug and Play which, like its predecessor the original PalmPower that we first reviewed back in 2013. Now, I know I said mains-powered and yes, this latest PalmPower has to be plugged-in to work, but it also comes with a handy USB charging station – meaning you can play with it pretty much anywhere (keep it legal, though)!

The reason the PalmPilot is in third is because of its lightweight feel. For those of us spoonies with chronic pain, for example, the PalmPilot is an easy toy to use – especially if you have small hands. If your grip’s an issue, you may want a bigger wand (did someone mention a Doxy?!).

You can buy your PalmPilot and some of its attachments at Simply Pleasure

Lastly, our Wildcard wand is this Lovehoney classic. Fairly priced at £49.99 and easy to operate, it comes with consistently good reviews and, as with all items bought from Lovehoney, an exceptional returns policy. What’s not to like?!

In terms of reviews like the above, I’ve been a professional sex toy tester for well over a decade and have a wealth of experience under my belt(!). I also write for trade magazines such as Synergy, reviewing adult products for my industry peers.

My whoredrobe is varied and extensive just like my tastes, and I’ll never recommend anything which hasn’t personally rocked my world. FACT.
